Building Design is the at the center of our practice. We believe it’s about providing innovative solutions to renovation and new building design. That’s why we work closely with our clients to fully understand their project needs, constraints, goals and vision. We provide design services ranging from building design and to interior design and retail to commercial office fit-outs.

As part of our traditional architectural services, we provide project management services for all types of projects, from residential construction to industrial facilities upgrade, retail fit-outs and commercial office fit-outs. Our professional network is increasing and we collaborate with multiple professionals from other industries to provide management services. 

We perform feasibility studies to determine the highest and best use of a site. Whether it’s looking at the cost-benefit analysis of a new site or determining the maximum development potential of an existing site, we can help you determine the scope and direction of your project. At times, this formal feasibility study can be a vital step to securing project funding and determining next steps.

Many factors make a site appropriate for a specific use.  We may work with one or more consultants to obtain various levels of technical information that are then used to determine the suitability of a site for a specific use. Factors may include conditions such as slope, zoning regulations or already-existing buildings on a site.

Whether your project is an office, light industrial building or educational facility, Blackline Architects work with you to understand your operational and spacial concerns. Based on that information, we can then define the design criteria for the spaces required to satisfy your operational needs.

We evaluate your existing building or site for further development or you need to undergo an assessment analysis for insurance purposes. This step is often a precursor to Building Design, a Feasibility Study or Site Selection Analysis and frequently done in before the purchase of a property.
